30,000 gns 2-y-o, Profitable gelding. Showed a bit more than on debut when fifth of 12 in maiden (20/1) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 9 days ago, that despite still running green. Likely type for nurseries moving forward.
Foaled April 8. 115,000 gns foal, Dark Angel colt. Brother to useful 7f winner Night Raider, and half-brother to very smart 5f-7f winner Far Above and 6f winner Dubai Dawn. Dam 7f winner. Lots to like on paper and he's well worth a look on debut.
£40,000 2-y-o. Soldier's Call colt. Dam, ran twice at 2 yrs, sister to useful sprinter Orvar. Showed ability amidst greenness when fifth of 10 in novice at Carlisle (5.8f, good) on debut 25 days ago. Entitled to do better.
€50,000 2-y-o, Ten Sovereigns colt. Promising start when fourth of 7 in maiden (7/1) at Hamilton (6f, good) on debut 29 days ago, challenging before no extra final 1f. Very much the type to improve and he's one to consider.
Foaled April 5. 32,000 gns 2-y-o, Tamayuz gelding. Half-brother to useful 2-y-o 6f winner Al Karrar and 5f-6f winner Good Good Good. Dam, 2-y-o 1m winner, half-sister to smart 5f/6f winner Annaf.
Twice-raced maiden who failed to match debut form under a change of tactics when eighth of 12 in novice at Newcastle (6f, 5/1) 5 weeks ago. Needs to get back on track.
Once-raced maiden. Last of 9 in novice (33/1) at Newcastle (5f) on debut 32 days ago, always behind. Passed over here.
Foaled April 5. 325,000 gns yearling, Pinatubo colt. Closely related to smart winner up to 1m San Donato and half-brother to 9.5f/1¼m winner Crafter. Dam, 2-y-o 6f winner (runner-up in Ballyogan Stakes). Appealing newcomer.
Twice-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in novice at Carlisle (5.8f, good, 18/1) 25 days ago, hanging left and off the pace from halfway. Another who may well be better off in nurseries in due course.
Foaled April 5. €45,000 foal, 100,000 gns yearling, Starspangledbanner colt. Brother to winner up to 1m Red Zone Hero and half-brother to 3 winners, including smart 5f/6f winner Son of Rest and useful 6f-1m winner Hightimeyouwon. Worth noting if the market speaks in his favour on debut.
Well held in pair of maiden/novice events at up to 7f to date. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Twice-raced maiden. 14/1, sixth of 7 in maiden at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 12 days ago, racing alone having hung across the track. Best watched here.
Foaled April 30. Ten Sovereigns colt. Offered something to work on amidst greenness when fifth of 7 in maiden (17/2) at Hamilton (6f, good) on debut 29 days ago, making late headway. Likely improver.

Forecasts
Arabian Angel (3/1), Callout (9/2), Gold Star Hero (5/1), Diablo Rojo (6/1), Cape Sovereign (13/2), Sealine (7/1), Gold Black (16/1), Cider Bob (25/1), Commander Atkinson (25/1), Andalprofit (33/1), Darla's Secret (66/1), Paulie Two Lockers (100/1), Mission In Malton (150/1)
ARABIAN ANGEL makes plenty of appeal on paper for a yard boasting a fine record with their juveniles and he earns the vote to make a winning debut before the benefit of market clues. Cape Sovereign, who produced a promising first effort when fourth at Hamilton, and another very appealing newcomer in the shape of Diablo Rojo are others to consider. Gold Star Hero also commands a market check.
- Cape Sovereign13/2
