Verdict

Having shown a fair level of ability in her three qualifying runs, EMPORESS is appealing here off what could turn out to be a very fair opening mark. She Went Whoosh may yet build on the promise of her debut second at Ripon and she is nominated as the main danger, narrowly ahead of Tees Aggregates, while improvement could also be on the way from River Blackwater.
