Cabra Lady^h1⁴⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Mr N McParlan⁽³⁾| T: S McParlan

Brought down on her only start in a point but offered something to work on under positive tactics at Downpatrick last month. Should do better and is likely to lead.

Eskimo Sam^t1

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Stan Sheppard| T: T Lacey

16/1

Black Sam Bellamy mare. Half-sister to 1¾m winner Artic Nel. Wears tongue strap. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for a yard that does well in this sphere.

33/1

£6,000 4-y-o, Geordieland mare. Half-sister to fairly useful 2m chase winner Ballybreeze. Not an obvious sort on paper.

20/1

£37,000 3-y-o, Black Sam Bellamy mare. Closely related to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Dorking Lad, stays 3m, and half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Lecale's Article, stayed 3m. Wears blinkers. Notable newcomer.

Hillstar filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stays 25f) Pym. Likely to need further but stable is going well.

Form:

Blackwater Lilly¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Craig Nichol| T: B Ellison

28/1

Showed potential when fourth at Market Rasen earlier this month and, while this would require a marked step forward, she's not completely ruled out.

Form: 4

Dance The Moon⁴¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King

14/1

Some promise on debut at Newbury but failed to build on it over C&D last time. Has plenty to find and others are more persuasive.

Form: 4-7

Maritime Mist

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: David Bass| T: F Brennan

125/1

Harbour Law filly. Half-sister to 6f-7f winner Brazen Diamond. Dam 5f winner, including at 2 yrs.

Form:

Mighty Fleur⁹³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen

2/1

Related to a bumper winner and made an excellent start when second over C&D three months ago. Returns with his stable firing and is worth a chance to go one better.

Form: 2-

Polly Pi

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Isabel Williams⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams

40/1

Mount Nelson filly. Half-sister to poor hurdler Timassini. Dam (c92/h94), temperamental 2m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m), also 10.7f winner on Flat. Worth a market check.

Form:

Pure Seduction⁸⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Ben Sutton⁽⁷⁾| T: F O'Brien

4/1

£30,000 4-y-o, Mount Nelson filly. Dam, ran twice over hurdles, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Daisy's Gift. Runner-up on second of 2 starts in Irish points (Apr 28). Interesting Rules newcomer for shrewd outfit.

Form: 32-

Forecasts

Mighty Fleur (2/1), Pure Seduction (4/1), Lowlands (17/2), Back In The Bay (17/2), Absence Of Malice (17/2), Cabra Lady (10/1), Dance The Moon (14/1), Eskimo Sam (16/1), Keppel Queen (20/1), Blackwater Lilly (28/1), Grayland (33/1), Polly Pi (40/1), Lily Power (80/1), Maritime Mist (125/1)

MIGHTY FLEUR made a positive start here three months ago and her yard is in excellent form, so she's fancied to open her account for all that Pure Seduction is a notable recruit from points and Eskimo Sam makes plenty of appeal on pedigree.
