Placed on first 7 starts over hurdles, including when third in maiden at Fontwell (21.8f) on stable debut in May. However, let down by his finishing effort when fifth in a Uttoxeter novice (23.3f, good) last time. Back down in trip for his handicap debut.
Maiden up to 2m on Flat who showed the benefit of a recent run in that sphere when winning handicap hurdle at Perth (16.2f, good) 8 days ago, suited by the less testing conditions. Respected with more still to offer over hurdles.
Won twice over fences last year and shaped well from his lower hurdles mark when runner-up at this C&D (good) last month, travelling smoothly into contention. Form of his latest outing has been working out well and he's a major player back down in grade.
Opened his account for the season at Hexham (16.2f) in June and has continued in good heart since, making a bold bid from the front when third at Perth (20.2f, good) 8 days ago. Not taken lightly as he drops back in grade/trip.
Fair winner at 12f on Flat who matched previous form in this sphere when third in maiden at Fakenham (16f, good) in June. Ran well on the level next time, but raced too freely at Chester 9 days ago. Could yet do better as a hurdler as he switches to handicaps.
Proved at least as good as ever when doubling his tally in handicap at Punchestown (19.5f) in June, before being left with a lot to do when third at Cork (16.9f, good) 17 days ago. Not dismissed lightly in his current form.
Ended long losing run at Sedgefield (16.8f) in May and ran at least as well when second at Hexham 11 days later. However, fell early next time before running well below form back at Hexham (16.2f, good) last month. Needs to get back on track.
Had been falling in the weights under various codes last season, beaten a long way over hurdles at Musselburgh in April. However, runner-up on the Flat in June and fared best of those held up when fifth at Catterick 12 days ago. Lurks on a dangerous mark back hurdling.

Forecasts
Restandbethankful (7/2), Malangen (9/2), The Navigator (5/1), Artiste D'ainay (5/1), Flashthelights (7/1), For Three (15/2), Trailblazer (8/1), Lucky Lover Boy (14/1), Natchez Trace (25/1), Shuil Donn (33/1)
RESTANDBETHANKFUL hadn't been seen to best effect over fences on his first 2 starts this season, before getting back on track returned to hurdling when second at this C&D on his latest outing, so he could be ready to take advantage of his lower hurdles mark this time around. Trailblazer got off the mark at Perth 8 days ago and is feared most, ahead of Malangen.
