Fairly useful on Flat (stays 2m) for Sir Mark Prescott, winning 2 handicaps last year and running well when third at Ascot on final outing in October. Dam half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (winner around 2m) Captain Brown and he created a very favourable impression when scoring at Worcester.

Fair handicapper on Flat, stays 1m, again ran well final outing in 2023. Has left David Evans ahead of this hurdles bow.

One-time useful performer on the level but modest at best nowadays, running below form in first-time visor when seventh of 13 in handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, heavy) in May. Never really a factor on hurdles debut a month ago.

Fairly useful Flat winner who exited just as things were taking shaping on last month's Fakenham hurdling debut. Showed no il-effects of that fall when runner-up over C&D 19 days ago, going with enthusiasm and he's open to progress. Tongue tie on.

Originally trained by Aidan O'Brien before winning 4 times for at up to 1¼m for Michael Appleby. Should have derived plenty from opening fifth over hurdles at Huntingdon.

Rather lost his way on the Flat for Paul Webber last year and sold for just £3,500. Looks a handicap project over hurdles.

Largely consistent on Flat (modest form at up to 14.5f) and he ran to a similar level when third of 10 in a C&D novice on yard/hurdles bow 19 days ago. No obvious reason why he'll reverse the form with Polling Day.

Fair maiden on Flat, stays 1½m, not seen to best effect on latest start in that sphere at Lingfield 22 days ago. Looked badly in need of experience when making hurdles debut here previously and he's best watched at present.

Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1¼m) for Karl Burke. Joined another leading stable for her hurdle career but no impact first 2 outings.

Casamento filly. Dam unraced, out of useful hurdler/fair chase winner (stayed 2¾m) Bold Fire. Fourth on sole outing in points but little to shout about under Rules so far, leaving Fergal O'Brien after 2 bumpers.
