Winner over hurdles here last summer and matched previous best in this sphere when second of 4 in novices' handicap over C&D in May. Ran no sort of race at Bangor subsequently but back on track returned to this venue (20.1f, good to firm, 7/1) when third of 6 last time, left poorly placed.

Opened his account at the second time of asking over hurdles in novice here 14 months ago but his subsequent handicap efforts have been disappointing. Makes debut over fences and has the size to make a chaser but something to prove all the same.

Veteran who is on a dangerous mark and returned to form with a big effort to finish second here (20f) in May. However, isn't as consistent as he used to be and needs to bounce back from a much lesser effort here 10 days ago.

Hurdles winner who has taken well to fences, successful at Taunton (2m, soft) in March. Followed up with a much-improved performance at Hereford before excellent second at Worcester, clear of rest. Better than bare result at Newton Abbot since and remains of interest.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat for Richard Hughes in 2022/23. Mostly disappointed for this yard but ran well sent chasing when second of 10 in handicap at Market Rasen (17.2f, good) last week. Player on that.

Capitalised on a reduced mark to land 17f Sedgefield handicap chase in November. Record has been typically mixed since, not at best despite making the placings when third at Cartmel (17.3f) in May.

TONTO FOLEY remains one to be interested in at this level, progressive overall and better than the bare result at Newton Abbot last time. Tessy Lad made a positive start over fences when second at Market Rasen last week and is next best ahead of Garde des Champs, who's back down in class.
