Bumper winner who has yet to get his head in front over hurdles but he has gone close to bucking that trend in recent weeks, finding one too good on each of his last 2 starts at Hexham (16.2f). Likely he'll be thereabouts again back up in trip.
Limited impact so far and having offered more encouraging signs when fourth in a C&D handicap in May, she's been most disappointing both starts since. Return to this venue needs to have a positive effect now.
Sole success came over 3m at Musselburgh in January 2021 and having offered little in 3 starts since returning from a lengthy absence, he produced comfortably his best effort for a while equipped with a visor when second over 23f here 16 days ago. Claims with a repeat.
Maiden hurdler who ran her best race for some time in a refitted visor when runner-up over C&D 16 days ago, staying on without troubling the winner. Handicapper has afforded her a chance but she wouldn't be sure to be in same form here.
Recorded a creditable third place finish at Huntingdon in April and dispelled a pair of lesser efforts when fifth of 10 in a C&D handicap in June, outpaced after 2 out before keeping on again run-in. Comes here operating from a basement mark and not discounted for all he's not scored since 2021.
Well beaten in bumpers/novice hurdles but did at least show more making handicap debut when 10 lengths fifth of 9 in a C&D handicap 16 days ago. Has fewer miles on the clock than most here and he may be up to building on that.
Ran with credit in a couple of starts here last summer and shaped as if he'd come on for his first start for 8 months when seventh of 13 in handicap back here (16.6f) 4 weeks ago. No forlorn hope with that run under his belt stepping back up in trip following wind surgery.
Losing run stretches back to 2021 and she ran some way below her best with a spin on the Flat under her belt when seventh of 9 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (23.3f, good to soft) 47 days ago. Others arrive with more pressing claims.
t's now 19 runs since his last win in 2021 and he was again well held when last of 11 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (18.7f) 5 days ago. Can only be watched with blinkers now enlisted for the 1st time.

Forecasts
Bullion Boss (5/2), Kopa Kilana (4/1), Fox's Socks (5/1), Lenebane (11/2), Hope Hill (8/1), Misscarlett (10/1), High Yield (12/1), Western Glen (22/1), Mawlood (100/1)
BULLION BOSS produced easily his best performance since returning from his lengthy absence when runner-up over 23f here 16 days ago and, in the hope the headgear has the desired effect once more, he gets a tentative vote to end a losing run. Kopa Kilana steps back up in trip following a pair of good placed efforts and is feared, with low-mileage Hope Hill possibly capable of better still for Sue Smith.
