Once-raced maiden. Tenth of 12 in maiden at Sandown (7f, good, 50/1) on debut 20 days ago. Will need to leave that well behind if she's to trouble the judge.

Once-raced maiden. 7/2, seventh of 20 in maiden at this C&D (good) on debut 48 days ago. Clearly thought capable of a good deal better and he's high on the shortlist.

Forecasts

I Maximus (5/4), King Of Bears (3/1), Chelsea Embankment (13/2), Spell Master (11/1), Meeghat (12/1), War Howl (12/1), Jet Packer (16/1), The Waco Kid (16/1), Token Gesture (50/1), Glendine (66/1)

Verdict

There were plenty of positives to take from KING OF BEARS C&D debut in May, for all that he failed to justify favouritism. The son of Kodi Bear will be more street-wise this time and he could be the answer. Chelsea Embankment left his low-key debut behind when third at Salisbury last month and looks a big threat, while I Maximus and Spell Master are two newcomers to note in the betting.
