11/2

20/1

Lightly-raced winner. Successful at Southwell in March. 33/1, respectable third of 7 in seller at Musselburgh (5f, good) 17 days ago. Needs to raise her game.

15/2

Once-raced maiden. Fourth of 6 in minor event (22/1) at Carlisle (5f, good to soft) on debut 18 days ago, missing break. Probably more one for handicaps in due course. Yard also saddles Horus.

7/2

Once-raced maiden. Second of 6 in minor event at Lingfield (5f, good, 16/1) on debut 17 days ago. Open to improvement and she's well worth considering.

Form: 2

(10)

Educating Rita²²

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: Connor Beasley| T: M Dods

13/8

Promising sort. Neck second of 8 to Jm Jhingree in maiden (4/1) at Redcar (5f, soft) on debut 22 days ago, staying on well. 7 lb better off with that rival here and she's a major player.

Form: 2

11/1

Foaled February 25. €1,500 yearling, €33,000 2-y-o, Far Above filly. Dam maiden. Watch the betting for clues.

Forecasts

Educating Rita (13/8), Desdemona (7/2), Jm Jhingree (11/2), Brooke Winder (15/2), Unthinkable (10/1), Kitten In The Sky (11/1), Deal Maker (20/1), Horus (22/1), Lionhart (33/1), Dawn Awakening (50/1), Westgate Warrior (66/1)

EDUCATING RITA made a very encouraging start to her career when just touched off by Jm Jhingree, who had the benefit of experience, at Redcar last month. She enjoys a healthy pull at the weights with that rival here and is taken to go one better this time. Jm Jhingree wasn't disgraced in a fairly valuable event at Beverley last time but he looks vulnerable all the same. Desdemona and Horus can both be expected to build on their debut efforts and may emerge as the main dangers.
