Opened his account at third time of asking in Nottingham novice (6.1f) in August. Held in competitive Ascot/York handicaps upon return last month. This is easier.

Winner at Lingfield in January. Gelded and 80/1, first run since leaving Andrew Balding when eleventh of 15 in handicap at Haydock (6f, good to soft) 13 days ago, hampered and probably better for the run. Betting could tell the tale.
Won at Ripon in September. 12/1, last of 6 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 35 days ago. She needs a revival after 2 heavy defeats.
Winner of first 2 starts as a juvenile (both at Dieppe in France). 28/1, fourth of 7 in handicap at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Must improve.
7/2, career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Catterick (5f, good) 25 days ago, getting a good split when launching her challenge between 2 of the 3 that had battled things out up front. 6f will suit and she's got good claims again.
Latest win at Beverley in May. Below form eighth of 15 in handicap at Haydock (6f, good to soft, 10/1) 13 days ago. More needed.
Won 6-runner maiden (50/1) at Ayr (6f, good) on return 24 days ago, showing a good attitude. Will go on improving now handicapping.
5/2, won 8-runner maiden at Newcastle (6f) 142 days ago, soon clear under this rider. Makes handicap/turf debut now and could do better again.
8/1, creditable third of 10 in handicap at Redcar (7f, soft) 10 days ago. Something to find on form.
Modest maiden. 13/2, last of 10 in handicap at Catterick (6f, heavy) 65 days ago. Looks vulnerable.

Forecasts
Angel Of England (13/8), Brummell (11/2), Alfa Kellenic (6/1), Keldeo (10/1), Biographer (10/1), A Girl Named Ivy (11/1), Ingleby Ivy (12/1), Without Flaw (16/1), Soul Singer (22/1), Baileys Polka Dot (28/1)
If there is one here better than this grade it is A GIRL NAMED IVY, who showed a good attitude when making a successful return at Ayr and can go on improving. Keldeo and Alfa Kellenic, the other two last-time-out winners in the field, are the obvious dangers.
- A Girl Named Ivy11/1
- Keldeo10/1
