Aquadi By Symphony Mares' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Promise on first of 2 starts in bumpers. Given a considerate ride on hurdles debut last month and he's expected to step up on that.

A fair hurdler for Nicky Henderson, falling early in handicap hurdle at Aintree (20f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Back in maiden company for new yard.

Modest bumper performer in Ireland who made the frame once from 3 starts in maidens on the Flat. With tongue strap applied on first run since leaving Timothy Doyle, struggled when sixth of 7 in handicap at Kempton (11f) last month. Makes hurdles debut.

Bred to stay well but clearly not short on speed as she won a brace of bumpers fitted with cheekpieces in the spring. Rates a pretty useful hurdles prospect and the one to beat if taking to it immediately.

Gentlewave mare. Dam unraced half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Punjabi and useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2½m) Attribution. Caught further back than ideal when third of 7 starting out at Bangor in May 2022. Off since but she's in excellent hands.

Won sole point but disappointing in a bumper (for Francesca Poste) and yet to complete over hurdles.

Shaped like a stayer in bumper/maiden hurdles.

From quite a good family but looks limited on early evidence.

Out of a bumper winner and reached the frame twice in that sphere last season. Little short-term promise over hurdles, though.

Southwell bumper winner who made an encouraging start in this sphere when third of 13 in novice over 20.6f here in November. Disappointing at Ludlow but hooded and back on track when third at Plumpton. Should be in the mix.

Showed plenty to work on when third in a Ludlow bumper last May. Not in the same form at Catterick 6 months later but pleasing start to hurdles career when runner-up at Southwell 16 days ago. Up in trip and there should be more to come.

Big prices and no show so far.
