Caused a surprise when taking heavy-ground Fontwell maiden in March. Not disgraced when fifth in a handicap there (17.7f, good) 20 days ago but others make greater appeal.
Not disgraced when last seen over timber at Market Rasen but arrives after a couple of moderate efforts on the Flat. Has gone close in this sphere from similar marks, though, so isn't discounted.
Useful on the Flat in Germany and struck at the second time of asking over hurdles in a Plumpton novice in October for Milton Harris. Disappointing in handicaps all 4 starts since, though far too free under restraint on latest and is dangerous to ignore from much-reduced mark.
Just modest form to date over hurdles, most recently when sixth of 13 in handicap hurdle (11/2) at Ffos Las (15.8f, good to soft) 29 days ago. Wears a hood for the first time now.
Maiden who has run better with a tongue tie added to visor the last twice, finishing second of 8 over 18.5f at Stratford latest. Likely to be competitive again.
Surpassed previous form when second in a 2m Worcester maiden hurdle last May but hasn't come close to matching that form since, pulled up on handicap debut at Stratford 9 months ago. Plenty to prove.
Off the mark over hurdles at the thirteenth attempt when benefiting from an enterprising ride at Exeter in October. Just one creditable effort since and dropped out tamely at Wincanton in February, so bit to prove.
Had plenty in hand when scoring on the Flat at Wolverhampton in March. Seemingly being brought along gradually back over hurdles since and no surprise if he were to do much better now handicapping.
Finally off the mark at Wincanton in January but in-and-out form since, producing a lesser effort when ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, soft, 15/2) 55 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Back from 15 months off when good third of 9 in handicap hurdle at Chepstow (16f, soft) in March but went backwards from that effort when eleventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (17.7f, good) 20 days ago. Others preferred.

Forecasts
City Roller (11/4), Greatness Awaits (3/1), Mac Be Lucky (7/1), Thurley (15/2), Miss Marette (9/1), Western Soldier (11/1), Ocean Ridge (14/1), Clinton Lane (16/1), Daany (22/1), Elusive Enemy (66/1)
Hard to be bullish about many here, so it may be worth chancing WESTERN SOLDIER, who wasn't seen to best effect under restraint at Hereford last time and looks on workable mark based on his Flat form. City Roller remains winless but arrives after a sound runner-up effort and also makes appeal, whilst handicap newcomer Ocean Ridge could do better in this sphere.
- Western Soldier11/1
- City Roller11/4
- Ocean Ridge14/1
