A three-time 2m winner last season who looked rusty after 7 months off when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle here (15.8f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Merits consideration with that run under his belt.

Forecasts

Lipa K (6/5), The Big Lense (7/2), Elham Valley (4/1), Pozo Emery (15/2), Copper Beach (16/1), Belvedere Blast (25/1)

LIPA K arrives better than ever over fences and looks to have got in lightly back in this sphere so edges the vote in a highly competitive handicap. Elham Valley heads the list of dangers on the back of his very good recent second here, although Belvedere Blast also needs considering with his fifth here last time under his belt. C&D 1-2 Pozo Emery and The Big Lense also command plenty of respect in an intriguing contest.
