Bumper/hurdles winner who wasn't seen to best effect at Warwick on return last month. Worth a second look on chase bow.

Won a 2m Worcester handicap for Alan King last summer. Back on track when third at Huntingdon on debut for this stable and may find more back over fences and in a first-time tongue strap.

Fair Flat winner who didn't need to improve much to open his account over hurdles at the third attempt in maiden at Sedgefield (16.8f) on Boxing Day. Only fourth on handicap debut at Musselburgh next time. Had a recent spin on the Flat so shouldn't be lacking for fitness on chase bow.

Pair of wins for Milton Harris last summer but well held both starts for this yard and not an obvious chasing type.

A fair 2m hurdle winner who arrives in the back of a good second at Bath on the Flat. Not taken lightly switched to fences for the first time.

Point winner who showed promise on 3 of his 4 starts over hurdles and showed aptitude for this job when fourth of 5 in handicap chase at Warwick (16.2f) 26 days ago, that despite losing his place at a vital stage. Promises to do better with that under his belt.

Opened his account over hurdles in December 2022 but hasn't replicated that level of form since, in the process of running poorly back over fences after 6 months off when falling heavily at Ffos Las 25 days ago. Percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Forecasts

Forget The Way (1/1), Jeudidee (5/1), Isholo Du Vivien (13/2), Henry Box Brown (13/2), Langton Wold (11/1), Nevendon (16/1), Call Me Rocky (18/1)

Verdict

FORGET THE WAY made a positive start for this yard when third back over hurdles at Huntingdon on return and can build on his promising chase bow at the second attempt. He's preferred to Isholo du Vivien, who showed an aptitude for chasing when fourth at Warwick last month. Jeudidee makes most appeal of the chase debutants.
