Hexham Legend 'Event Of Sivola' Memorial Handicap Chase

Losing run stretches back to March 2022 but the handicapper has shown mercy and he put in a good shift returned to this sphere at Sedgefield (21f, good) last time. Will be a danger to all if able to build on that effort.

Dual hurdles winner who was placed on 2 of his first 3 starts over fences in 2023. However, he needs to bounce back in a significant way following poor efforts at Newcastle and Wincanton the last twice (undergone a second wind op since latest run).

Multiple hurdles winner last year and positive start in this sphere when 3 lengths third to Dr Shirocco in a C&D handicap 3 weeks ago. Mark unchanged and he should have a part to play.

Finally off the mark over fences at Haydock at the end of March and bettered that when proving 4 lengths too strong for Dr Shirocco over C&D (good to soft) recently. 6 lb rise fair enough and he's likely to be in the thick of things.

Took well to fences last year, scoring over this C&D and at Cartmel at the start of the summer. Decent second back here in October but he misfired when returning from a break last month and it's hard to lend him support on the back of that.

Winless following 20 attempts over hurdles but has already won 3 times from 12 starts in this sphere, the latest over C&D at the beginning of last month. Denied a clear run turning for home when 4 lengths second to Elleon back here recently and now 4 lb better off with that rival.
