Cheekpieces on for 1st time, failed to progress all that much from debut when fifth of 7 in minor event at Leicester (7f, good, 11/1) when last seen 21 months ago, unsuited by drop in trip. First run for yard after leaving Saeed Bin Suroor (for 2,000 gns) and has been gelded.

Well held both starts in bumpers and looks a big outsider on Flat debut.
7/1, found wanting for know-how when fifth of 9 in maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good) on debut 10 days ago, slowly away. Bred to be suited by 1¼m and entitled to progress.
Shaped with plenty of encouragement from off the pace in a steadily-run affair when second of 8 in maiden (11/4) at Chelmsford City (10f) on debut just over 3 weeks ago, finishing well. May well do better.
13/2, left his debut form well behind when second of 12 in maiden at Newbury (10f, good) 2 weeks ago, showing a willing attitude to hold the lead but having no answer to the late thrust of the winner. Fancied to go on improving.
In need of experience when eleventh of 13 in minor event at Kempton (8f, 9/1) on debut 6 months ago, weakening over 1f out. Up in trip. Will need to leave that initial effort well behind.

Forecasts
Trouville (5/6), Hajara (15/8), Midair (2/1), Seek And Destroy (11/2), Kingdom Of Stars (10/1), Far Lane (14/1), Rust E Gal (100/1), Six Foot Lap (150/1), Al Wasl Dream (150/1)
MIDAIR would have finished quite a bit closer without meeting trouble when finishing fourth on handicap debut at Ascot earlier this month, so this looks a good opportunity for Harry Charlton's colt to get off the mark back in maiden company. Trouville has found just one too strong on both outings so far, but he may have to settle for silver once again, with Hajara and Kingdom of Stars another couple open to improvement after promising debut efforts.
