Sent off favourite when pulled up only start in points and was again prominent in the betting (10/3) on his hurdling debut, showing ability when third of 14 in maiden at this C&D last month. Enters calculations with his yard in good form.

Fourth of 13 in bumper at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good) on NH debut. Only seventh at Taunton 7 months later and may need this initial experience of hurdling.

Lightly-raced 7-y-o who shaped well on first run since leaving Tom George when second in a maiden at Market Rasen (20.6f) in January. Yet to build on that but returns to calmer waters here.

Half-brother to numerous winners and showed more than on debut when second in bumper at Fakenham. Only fourth in a novice at Uttoxeter on hurdling debut but should build on that at some point.

Bumper winner for N. Madden but hasn't been the most straightforward over hurdles. However, he produced his best effort for his current yard when runner-up in handicap at Ballinrobe (22.4f) last month. Holds leading claims back in maiden company.

ONLYAMATTEROFTIME is the clear form pick and, while there are reservations as to his temperament, he should have enough to make a winning start at the likely expense of G A Henty, who is the danger on ratings. Espoir des Forges is open to improvement and could feature.
