Tote, Never Beaten By SP Handicap Hurdle

Dual winner over hurdles in 2022 who fared better than of late when third of 9 in handicap at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft) 14 days ago. Fairly treated if able to build on that.

Wincanton maiden winner (15.2f) in February who has hit the frame in a brace of handicaps this spring, latterly when fourth, in first-time cheekpieces, at Hexham (16.2f, soft) earlier this month. Should go well again.

Fairly useful performer on Flat who got off the mark for new connections over hurdles at Catterick (19.3f) in December. Disappointed in both completed starts over timber since, however, and others look better treated.

Won 4 on the bounce for this yard in spring 2022 but not at the same level for Andrew Martin last year. However, her mark has dropped as a result and she made her second start back with Alan King a winning one at Stratford (16.3f, good to soft) last month. 2 lb rise very fair.

Took advantage of a much-reduced mark when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, good to firm, 17/2) 16 days ago. Just 3 lb higher now and must enter calculations.

Won a pair of Sedgefield novice hurdles in March 2023 but gone backwards since, failing to complete in both outings last season. Plenty to prove at present.

Runner-up in a point before making winning hurdles bow for new yard in maiden at Sedgefield in November. However, proved disappointing since (including over fences) and no surprise to see headgear reached for.
