25/1, confirmed that he's very much building up to something from a much-reduced mark when second of 21 in handicap at York (6f, good) 12 days ago, worn down late on having looked in control entering final 1f. Nudged up 2 lb but remains very well treated on past exploits.

10/1, very easy to back but shaped well after 6 months off when fourth of 13 in handicap at Ripon (6f, heavy) just under 6 weeks ago, faring by far the best of those who raced far side. That will have blown away any cobwebs, so certainly not out of things.

Shaped as if needing the run back on all-weather after 7 months off when 5 lengths sixth of 12 to Secret Guest in handicap (9/1) at Newcastle (6f) when last seen in February. His 3 rivals have race-fitness on their side, so the percentage call is to look elsewhere.

A small field but there's plenty of intrigue, SECRET GUEST selected to notch a fifth career success having ran a cracker when third at Thirsk on return just 9 days ago. Clearly still an interesting sprint handicapper, he can get the better of Dakota Gold, who showed there's still plenty of life left in his 10-y-o legs when finishing runner-up at York earlier this month.
