St Mary's Hospice Handicap Chase

Promising individual. Six wins from 16 NH runs. 2/1, career best when winning 6-runner novice chase at Warwick (20f, good) on debut over fences 16 days ago, cruising clear. More to come and makes obvious appeal switched to handicaps.

Smart at best on the Flat and has a tremendous strike rate over obstacles, completing a four-timer over fences at Southwell last July. Latest effort on the Flat was underwhelming but he can't be ruled out.

Produced a career-best when winning an 11-runner handicap chase (18/1) at Kempton in April and backed it up with a good second there. Should be on the premises again.

Useful winning chaser who, having been given a chance by the handicapper, returned to form when runner-up at Newcastle in April. Respectable fourth at Kelso since and no reason why he won't give another good account.

Bumper winner who showed fairly useful form when placed all 4 starts in maiden/novice hurdles last season. Taken well to fences this time round, comfortably seeing off 2 rivals in 2m Haydock maiden in December. Not in same form at Chepstow next time but has had a break since.

Smart chaser at his peak for Willie Mullins but he's yet to fire for current yard.

Hasn't got his head in front since back-to-back wins at Kelso in 2022 but the handicapper has relented and he returned to form when second in a 5-runner contest there on penultimate outing. Latest run best ignored so he's not one to rule out.

Notched second success over fences at Sedgefield in October and ran well off his lower hurdles mark when runner-up at Catterick (15.7f). Poor efforts since but return to larger obstacles might help.
