Useful stayer on Flat for Jessica Harrington. Bought for 65,000 gns in December and built on hurdles debut promise when landing the odds in a 2m mares' maiden at Warwick (good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Big player with further improvement on the cards.

Hurdles debut sixth at Kelso was certainly not devoid of promise but she will need to step up considerably if she's to trouble the likes of Irish Lullaby and Spit Spot.

Didn't show much in a Galway bumper for Denis Hogan last August and didn't fare any better on recent hurdling bow at Perth.

Fair performer on the Flat and has run to a similar level over hurdles for current yard, runner-up 3 times on the bounce earlier this year. Her jumping has rather let her down the last twice (undergone a wind op since latest start) but she'll have a real chance if putting in a good round here.

Failed to complete both starts in points and she's hard to warm to on this Rules debut.

Made a winning start when landing a Newcastle bumper in January and ran to a similar level when fifth of 7 at Sedgefield next time. Beaten a long way on hurdles debut at Hereford last time but she's surely capable of better than that.

Forecasts

Irish Lullaby (4/7), Spit Spot (5/2), Disco Annie (9/1), Thatswhatshesaid (14/1), Standoutandbeseen (66/1), Runremyrun (125/1)

Verdict

This looks between IRISH LULLABY and Spit Spot, with ready preference for the former, who boasts the superior Flat form and has made a very positive start over hurdles. Spit Spot has failed to build on the promise she initially showed in this sphere but will be a threat if able to get back on track following a wind operation. Bumper winner Thatswhatshesaid is most interesting of the remainder.
