Multiple winner over hurdles and completed a four-time over fences last summer. Should be sharper for a recent comeback run at Perth and respected for his local yard.
Likeable, versatile campaigner who resumed winning ways in 5-runner handicap over C&D last August. Sharper for a recent comeback outing on the Flat and well capable of playing a prominent role if first-time cheekpieces (which are added to his regular tongue strap) have a positive effect.
Multiple hurdles winner who made a fine start over fences (in blinkers) last summer, scoring 3 times at 3m. Given a break after a fall at Carlisle in October and returned with a good second at Kempton last month. Enters calculations.
Off the mark at the first time of asking for Harry Derham in 2m handicap at Huntingdon on his debut over fences. Last of 5 at Newbury next time but back on the up in a first-time tongue tie (retained) when making all at Plumpton (17f, good to soft) in March.
Front-runner who won 3 times over fences last season. Good 2 lengths second of 8 to the reopposing at Cheltenham last month. Player if in a similar mood.
C&D winner who was better than ever last summer, winning in small fields at Southwell and Stratford. Off since a below-par 17¾ lengths third of 5 to El Borracho over C&D last August but he has gone well fresh before.
Useful effort when bolting up in the mud over hurdles at Compiegne in May. Encouraging start over fences for his new stable when second over 2m at Wetherby (heavy) in November but not in the same form when filling the same position in a Haydock maiden chase and Huntingdon novice hurdle since.
Bit of an in-and-out profile but he did run well back from wind surgery when third of 11 (Fringill Dike second) in Kempton handicap last month. Tongue tie worn on that occasion retained.
Got off the mark in this sphere at Exeter in December and arrives on the back of a good fourth of 15 in the Red Rum handicap at Aintree (2m, soft) 37 days ago. Merits consideration off a 6 lb lower mark.
Useful hurdle/chase winner for Willie Mullins but drawn a blank for 2 different yards since coming to Britain. Remains to be seen whether another change of stable sparks a resurgence.
Won twice over hurdles last spring. Pulled up on testing winter ground in her first 2 chases but a different proposition back on a sounder surface this spring, winning handicaps at Plumpton and Cheltenham (beat Sacre Couer 2 lengths) in quick succession last month. Could easily still be on a good ma

Forecasts
Somespring Special (7/2), Mayhem Mya (5/1), Kansas City Star (7/1), Fringill Dike (8/1), Sacre Coeur (8/1), Ganapathi (17/2), Prince Escalus (9/1), A Different Kind (11/1), El Borracho (12/1), Inedit Star (14/1), Sir Tivo (40/1)
A useful and competitive handicap. MAYHEM MYA ran a cracker from out of the weights in the Red Rum at Aintree and is taken to strike back off her proper mark. Last month's Cheltenham 1-2 Somespring Special and Sacre Coeur are feared most.
