Fair performer on the Flat for Lucinda Russell last year and has made the frame in a brace of handicap hurdles in March. Backward step over C&D 3 weeks ago and he looks extremely vulnerable back in a maiden.

Timeform
Useful on Flat (stays 1½m), mid-field in competitive handicap last time. Has left G. M. Lyons but joined another good yard and this looks an excellent starting point over hurdles. Tongue tie on.

Timeform
Held back by inexperience on debut at Kelso in February but more like it when third of 8 at Hexham 3 weeks ago, travelling with purpose, One to consider now hurdling.

Timeform
Third foal, dam unraced. Made frame on last 2 of 4 starts in Irish points, third latest (Jan 28).

€17,500 3-y-o, £40,000 5-y-o, Mahler gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Silk Run, probably stayed 3¼m, and fair hurdler Empty The Tank. Runner-up sole outing in Irish points but low-key start in a bumper last month.

Bumper winner who faced a stiff task on his hurdles debut in the Grade 2 Premier Hurdle in March. Really ought to benefit from that experience and should do better down in trip/class.

Timeform
Mid-field at best in maidens/handicap on Flat for Noel Meade.

Forecasts

Imaginarium (6/4), Will Knott (2/1), Presenting Max (7/2), Traveling Soldier (9/2), Lance Les Des (10/1), Don't Look Back (14/1), Jony R (33/1), The Jeweller's Pet (40/1), Spanish Saint (50/1), Dance Floor Drama (100/1)

Verdict

IMAGINARIUM quickly attained a useful level on the Flat in Ireland and, sure to be well prepared for this hurdles debut, he makes plenty of appeal. Will Knott is in a much more suitable race and a big step forward looks on the cards, with Presenting Max one to monitor very closely in the market.
