Showed a bit in bumpers but little impact in maiden/novice hurdles, well-beaten when fourth of 9 in novice at Hexham 18 days ago. Market could guide as he makes his handicap debut.

Fair form when making the frame all 3 starts in bumpers for Dermot Weld, but below that level over hurdles for his current yard. After 3 months off, eighth of 12 at Perth on handicap debut 2 weeks ago, so he needs to find more with that run behind him.

It's now 13 runs since his sole success back in 2022, but ran of his better recent races when fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (19.6f) 15 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and he can make his presence felt from his current mark.

Didn't make a promising start over hurdles but showed more in 2023/24, making the frame in 4 of his first 5 starts of the campaign. Possibly unsuited by testing conditions when pulled up on his latest outing, so he could fare better with cheekpieces/tongue strap back on.

Modest form at best over hurdles for Michael Griffin in Ireland and bettered previous efforts for current yard when third at Musselburgh in January. However, has gone backwards from that effort in 2 subsequent outings. Others more persuasive.

Ran to a fair level in bumpers for Michael Appleby in 2022. After 18 months off, hasn't offered much in novice/maiden hurdles for his current yard, but he could show more as he goes handicapping with cheekpieces/tongue strap added to the hood.

Well held only start in bumpers and has fared no better sent hurdling, seventh of 9 in maiden at Catterick when last seen back in February 2023. Looks to be up against it with cheekpieces back on for his return.

Long-standing maiden but made the frame in a couple of handicap hurdles this winter. However, not in the same form tried chasing again at this course in February, before finishing well held back over hurdles last time. Others preferred.

Veteran whose last victory came back in September 2021. Form had been going the wrong way, but from his tumbling mark he ran better than for a while when third at Perth 15 days ago. Task is now to build on his latest effort.

Having dropped in the weights, LUCKY LOVER BOY ran better than for a while when third at Huntingdon 15 days ago and he can build on that effort to gain a third C&D success. Copper Fox also ran well at Huntingdon on his latest outing and could be in the mix with cheekpieces reapplied, while Brian's Jet is worth another chance back on less testing ground.
