£100,000 purchase having been placed only start in Irish points and did well when second in a pair of 2m4f Hereford novice hurdles in November. Bit disappointing since however, including in handicap again a fortnight ago. Stamina doubts.

Bits of promise over hurdles but ran no sort of race switched to handicap company after 10 weeks off at Taunton (well backed), the step up to this trip not a factor. Bit to prove off same mark.

Modest form only when held in fourth in 2m maiden hurdle here in December. Well beaten in handicaps the last twice. Steps up markedly in trip.

Maiden hurdler with a mixed record in this sphere to date but he did fare better than previously when second in 5-runner Fontwell handicap (25.8f) under today's rider 7 weeks ago, making his effort from further back than ideal. That gives him something to build on here.

£75,000 buy after winning a point. Better effort second run in handicaps when not beaten far at Ludlow (21.3f) a fortnight ago with more positive tactics back in use after 9 weeks off. One to consider.

Showed little in four hurdling starts in September/October 2022 but has won 3 of last 4 starts in points (latest Jun 2023). Worth a look on handicap debut for new trainer.
