Hadn't made much impact previously but, in first-time cheekpieces, he showed much improved form when winning novice handicap at Huntingdon (20.7f, soft) 25 days ago, responding well. Could have more to offer now that he's up and running.
Upped in trip for his handicap debut, took a step forward when getting off the mark in 11-runner event at Huntingdon (19.6f, soft) in January, scoring with a bit in hand. Possibly found testing conditions against him next time, so he's not one to write off.
Has left his previous efforts behind switched to handicaps, staying on strongly to complete the hat-trick in conditionals/amateurs event at Ayr (20.4f, soft) a week ago. Goes unpenalised for his latest success so he looks to hold leading claims.
Encouraging second in a bumper at Ayr on debut and showed more than previously over hurdles when third in a Kelso maiden (20.9f, soft) last time, finishing with running left. Could do with brushing up his jumping as he makes his handicap debut.
Sent handicapping over a longer trip, got back on track when second of 12 at Ayr (20.4f, good to soft) in March, though again showed an awkward side. Task is now to be able to build on his latest effort.
Placed on first of 2 starts in Irish points and has been going the right way over hurdles, still looking in need of the experience when third of 9 on his handicap debut at Carlisle (19.3f, soft) last month. Can make his presence felt.
Modest on the Flat but has shown more over hurdles, running to a fair level when runner-up in a Killarney maiden in August (final start for Ross O'Sullivan). Hasn't matched that yet in 3 starts for his current yard, but he could do better now handicapping.
Runner-up in an Ayr bumper on debut and improved on his first 2 starts in maiden hurdles when fifth of 11 at Sedgefield (16.8f, heavy) in February. Failed to repeat that effort in handicap at Ayr last time, but he should be suited by this longer trip.
Showed fair form when making the frame all 3 starts in bumpers for Dermot Weld, but below that level so far in maiden/novice hurdles for his current yard. Has work to do as he makes the switch to handicaps.
Some promise in novice/maiden hurdles but hasn't found any progress sent handicapping on his last 3 starts, faring no better after a breathing operation when seventh of 12 at Ayr (20.4f, good to soft) last time. First run for yard after leaving Nicky Richards.
Remains a maiden but was showing better signs for her current yard when last seen, still having plenty to do 3 out when third of 7 at Kelso (25.8f, good to firm) on her final outing last May. Mark has eased further ahead of her return from 11 months off.
Has progressed well switched to handicaps this season, again showing a good attitude when making it 3 wins from 4 starts at Stratford (22f, heavy) in March. However, was possibly unsuited by less testing conditions when run of good form halted at Chepstow last time.

PLAISIR DES FLOS has thrived since sent handicapping, scoring in impressive style at Ayr last week, and without a penalty for that he can go on to land the 4-timer. Gustoso got off the mark in first-time cheekpieces on his latest outing and could be the biggest threat, with the progressive Tommy Combats completing the shortlist.
