Progressive in 3 starts last year, successful at Ffos Las on his second outing. Probably needed the run after 6 months off when sixth of 7 in handicap at Kempton (8f, 11/2) 30 days ago, so he could fare better this time.
After 4 months off, took another step forward when fourth of 11 in maiden (7/1) at Kempton (8f) 23 days ago. One to consider as he makes his handicap debut.
Won at Yarmouth on his second start and ran well when fourth in a Thirsk nursery in September. Ridden too aggressively when eleventh of 16 in minor event at York (7f, heavy, 25/1) on his final outing. Gelded ahead of his return.
Winner at Newcastle last year and shaped well on his seasonal/handicap debut when fourth of 9 at Southwell (8.1f, 9/1) 2 weeks ago, making promising mid-race move having been very slowly away. Open to further improvement.
Off the mark at Redcar in May last year. However, ended the campaign with a couple of lesser efforts, ninth of 11 in minor event at York (7f, good, 13/2) when last seen in July. Cheekpieces applied after 9 months off.
Promising fourth at Newbury on debut but wasn't able to find any progress in his 2 subesquent outings, sixth of 10 in minor event at Salisbury (8f, heavy, 3/1) in October. Could yet do better as he goes handicapping, though.
Prominent in the betting (3/1) and duly showed much improved form when winning 10-runner nursery (3/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) in October, readily. Not taken lightly after 6 months off (has been gelded).
Won twice at Pontefract last year and, after 7 months off, ran well having attracted strong support (11/4) when fourth of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, heavy) 17 days ago. Can give his running again with the visor back on.
Justified short odds (4/5) when making a successful handicap debut in 6-runner event at Ripon (8f, heavy) 8 days ago, making running and going clear over 1f out. Holds leading claims under a penalty.
Encouragement on first 2 starts but couldn't quite improve on those efforts when fourth of 10 in maiden at Southwell (7.1f, 9/1) a month ago. Remains with potential as he makes the switch to handicaps.
Made a winning start in handicaps at Kempton in January and has run creditably all 3 races since, third of 8 at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 9/2) 34 days ago. Needs to find more as he makes only his second start on turf.
Best effort when runner-up at Leicester last summer (trained by Marcus Tregoning first 3 outings). After 9 months off (gelded), first run since leaving Alice Haynes when last of 11 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f, 66/1) 29 days ago.
Possibly needed the run after 6 months off when eleventh of 14 in handicap at Chelmsford City (10f, 33/1) 28 days ago. Still has something to find, though, as he drops back down in trip.

FLYING FINN showed improved form when making a winning handicap debut in good style at Ripon last week, looking better the further she went, and a penalty might not be enough to prevent her from following up. Rukaana was also successful on his first handicap start and is respected on his return, with the progressive Sir Gabrial completing the shortlist.
- Flying Finn15/8
- Rukaana18/1
- Sir Gabrial12/1
