Has looked one of top stable's lesser lights so far, finishing only fifth on his Plumpton chase debut in February and pulled up back hurdling in cheekpieces last month. Blinkers the headgear of choice this time.
Pair of handicap hurdle wins in the first half of the season but his form has levelled off since and he was pulled up on his Fakenham chase debut last month. Hard to be too positive after that.
Left his hurdling exploits behind when scoring easily on his Market Rasen chase debut in February. Disappointing at Southwell since but there's nothing wrong with the Market Rasen form (had 3 next-time winners in behind) and could bounce back.
Modest hurdler who has been well held on his completed start in handicap hurdles since returning from a year off. Remains to be seen whether a switch to fences improves matters.
Made the frame on a couple of occasions over hurdles last season but has pulled up on all 3 chase starts this time round.
Not the most reliable but has won at Uttoxeter and Ludlow at this sort of trip this season. Latest Huntingdon fifth was a below-par effort but he's a contender if on a going day.
Fontwell novice hurdle success in 2020 remains his only career success but he's regularly placed over fences, finishing runner-up on 2 of his last 3 starts. Likely to be competitive again. Tongue tied first time.
Justified support when scoring for the first time over fences at Southwell (3m, heavy) in February. Not so good when a well-held third on his 2 outings since so he needs the refitting of cheekpieces to help to spark him.
Modest hurdler winner who has been below that level in his 5 outings over fences, finishing a distant fifth back from wind surgery at Ludlow on latest start 8 weeks ago.
Irish point recruit who left his novice hurdle efforts behind when making a successful chase and handicap debut at Hereford (21f, soft) 15 days ago. Should be more to come from him over fences, particularly now stepping up in trip.
Little impact over hurdles for current yard and never going well when pulled up on last month's Exeter chase debut.
Irish point winner last April. Also made a successful start under Rules in a Market Rasen bumper in June but has struggled since, including switched to fences for her handicap debut at Huntingdon at the beginning of this month. Has something to prove for now.
Well held in bumpers/novice hurdles and showed nothing on last week's chase and handicap debut after an absence. First-time cheekpieces need to make a big difference.
Unplaced sole start in points and poor form in 6 outings over hurdles. Hard to fancy now chasing in cheekpieces.
Hasn't shown much in 10 runs in this sphere, beaten 41 lengths when third at Fakenham over Easter.

Plenty of runners but few arrive with compelling claims and VILLAGE MASTER rather stands out on the back of his recent Hereford chase and handicap debut success. Samourai One could give him most to do if recapturing the form of his Market Rasen win in February. Furkash is a long-standing maiden over fences but has regularly been placed in similar events.
