Bumper winner who gained a deserved success over hurdles in 12-runner C&D handicap in November. Off since, but 4 lb rise is very fair.

Won first 2 career starts and having failed to stay when fourth of 8 in novice hurdle at Musselburgh (19.8f, soft) in November, he got back on track returned to 2m when second at Sedgefield. Can remain competitive under good-value apprentice.

Won a Market Rasen maiden and 2m handicap at Worcester in summer 2022. Showed he retains all his ability back from an absence when just edged out at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in August and fit from a recent spin on the AW.

A fair winner over hurdles in France and has shown a similar level of form over fences. Left D. Bressou for €30,000 and little to draw from completed start in Britain.

Winner of bumper at Southwell in April 2023 and she made a promising start in this sphere when second of 7 in novice at Fakenham in November. Didn't need to improve to go one place better at Wincanton and she's in the right hands to progress in handicaps.

Made a winning handicap debut in 13-runner event at Hereford in November 2022. 5 lb rise perfectly fair on the face of it but his subsequent absence raises questions.

Dual Worcester winner of summer of 2022 and last seen finding only one too good back there in June. Entitled to need this starting out for a new yard.

Forecasts

Call The Dance (2/1), Parc d'Amour (4/1), Oslo (6/1), Lucky Lover Boy (13/2), Stay If U Want To (7/1), Quaresome (15/2), Maxcel (12/1), L'allier (14/1), Bannister (25/1), Les Loyautes (33/1)

Verdict

CALL THE DANCE was quite impressive when landing a big-field novice at Wincanton in January and she's certainly in the right hands to progress again now handicapping. Stay If U Want To could also be better than his opening mark based on his bumper form, with Parc d'Amour completing the shortlist.
