V2 Radio 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Debut bumper winner who has been brought along steadily over hurdles, patiently ridden when fourth of 5 in novice at Sandown (16f, soft) last month. Better form when runner-up on handicap debut 16 days ago and that sets the clear standard back in a maiden.

Showed ability when fourth in a bumper at Chepstow in January but folded over the same C&D since.

Appeared to take a sizeable step forward when third in an 8-runner maiden at Wincanton in October but hasn't been able to repeat that effort since, including in handicaps. Has undergone breathing surgery since last seen.

Westerner gelding. Dam, no form over hurdles/fences, sister to useful chaser (stayed 21f) Mr Medic. Shaped better than end result suggests in a Chepstow.

Out of a bumper winner and showed something to work on when third on debut in November. Well beaten in listed company at Newbury since but now goes hurdling at an ordinary level.

Fair in bumpers for Paul Nicholls and left behind a low-key hurdles debut when fifth of 12 at Plumpton last month, finishing with running left. Capable of better.

Limited impact in a bumper/maiden hurdle 6 months apart.

£25,000 purchase after getting off the mark in Irish points at the second attempt in October. Low-key start to Rules career.

Posted good second (with hood on) in a course bumper on NH debut in September but not at that level in a brace of bumpers since.

Little in the way of solid form in a trio of bumpers.
