Getting the hang of things over fences, winning 2 of his last 3 starts, both at this track, seeming to have plenty more up his sleeve if required over this trip last month. Can defy 6 lb rise.
Lightly raced since winning at Aintree (15.8f) but returned with good placed efforts at Uttoxeter/Sedgefield in the autumn. Let down by his jumping both starts since, however.
Left his hurdle form behind when making a winning start to his chase career at Ludlow (2½m) when last seen in March, coming clear in good style. Sold from Sam Thomas £40,000 in May. Open to further progress over fences.
Dual winner in first campaign over fences last term and made the frame 3 of 4 starts this season. Should be in the mix again.
Hasn't stood much racing in recent years but all the better for return when winning at Musselburgh last time. Had a bit more in hand than the bare margin suggests so respected up 5 lb.
Enhanced good strike rate over fences when landing a Newcastle handicap in December 2021 but well held all 3 starts this season after nearly 2 years off.
Narrowly denied on sole start in Irish point and went one better on hurdling debut at Ffos Las. Hasn't kicked on since, however, legless at Chepstow 4 weeks ago.
Improved over hurdles for Dan Skelton last spring, completing a hat-trick at Warwick. Shaped encouragingly on yard/chase debut when second at Doncaster but gone backwards since. Headgear on.
Lightly-raced 7-y-o who shaped well after 8 months off when third of 14 in handicap chase at Ludlow on debut over fences. Failed to build on that at Warwick last month but still early days.

Snowy Evening (7/4), Minella Choice (3/1), William Of York (13/2), Rath Gaul Hill (15/2), Jazz King (10/1), Fete Champetre (12/1), Fearless (16/1), Maninsane (18/1), Valence D'Aumont (66/1)
SNOWY EVENING is on the upgrade over fences now and can make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts in this sphere. Fete Champetre had a bit more in hand than the bare margin suggests at Musselburgh so is next best ahead of chase debut winner Jazz King, who remains with potential starting out for a new yard after 11 months off.
