Winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland and better than ever when doubling tally for new yard at Cartmel (21f) in August. May of needed first start for 5 months at Wetherby in January and this rates less demanding.

Hurdles winner who bounced back to best in first-time cheekpieces when doubling chase tally at Sedgefield (17f, heavy) 3 weeks ago, seeing things out better than usual. Consistency not his strong suit but claims if replicating that here.

C&D winner who suggested he's coming to the boil when fourth of 7 in handicap here (23.4f) last month, despite some indifferent jumping. Versatile as regards trip and he could just be worth chancing to come out on top.

Wide margin winner of a Thurles maiden hurdle but much too free on belated return/chase debut for new yard at Ayr in December. Subsequent Warwick effort in 2-runner affair was disappointing and he's tough to assess at present.

Forecasts

Escapeandevade (11/8), Dubai Days (7/4), Salamanca Bay (5/1), Marshalled (15/2)

Verdict

DUBAI DAYS usually comes good around this time of year and, having displayed encouraging signs over further here 33 days ago, this former C&D winner could be worth chancing to build on that effort here. Escapeandevade, a good winner in first-time cheekpieces (retained here) at Sedgefield 3 weeks ago can also feature with a repeat.
