Modest maiden on Flat for Richard Fahey but hasn't been able to match that level in 3 starts over hurdles so far, well held in novice at Cartmel when last seen 8 months ago. Has plenty to find on his return.

Fair hurdler for Stuart Crawford and, after 18 months off, showed that he retains plenty of ability when third in maiden at this C&D in October. Struggled in 2 starts over fences since, but no surprise to see him get back on track returned to hurdling. Major player.

Well held in a 2-finisher point and hasn't offered much in 2 novice hurdles, in first-time tongue strap when failing to beat a rival at this course (19.8f) in November. Has had a wind op since, with hood now reached for.

Mid-field both starts in bumpers for Roger McGrath in Ireland last summer. Showed some ability sent hurdling when third of 8 in maiden at this course (19.8f) in January, but beaten a long way out at Catterick 12 days later. Not discounted back here.
