Third in a bumper in the spring and built on that to make a successful start over hurdles in a novice at Plumpton in November, powering away. Has shown better form in defeat subsequently and this looks a good opportunity to resume winning ways.

Fairly useful hurdler who acquitted himself well in a better race when third in 10-runner Grade 2 at Cheltenham (24f, good to soft) 52 days ago, having run of race. Has since left John McConnell.

Justified favouritism when making a successful bumper debut over C&D last winter and left his hurdling debut form when winning 14-runner maiden at Wetherby (2m) 24 days ago. More to come now stepping up in trip.

Bought for £110,000 after winning an Irish point in April but failed to meet expectations in a novice hurdle at Ayr on Rules debut in December. Clearly thought capable of better.

Looks one for the longer term judged on early evidence in bumpers.

This looks a good opportunity for EMAILANDY to resume winning ways having run to a near useful level on both his starts since making a successful hurdling debut at Plumpton in November. Sao Carlos undoubtedly has more to offer now stepping up to a more suitable trip, with the more exposed Moon d'Orange also respected on first outing for Fergal O'Brien.
