Scored twice for David Bridgwater last spring but he needs to bounce back in a major way following a trio of dismal efforts since joining present yard.
Immediate improvement over hurdles upon joining James Owen last year and has looked better still switched to fences the last twice, latterly landing a C&D handicap (soft) in ready fashion. 5 lb rise looks manageable and he makes plenty of appeal.
Decent placed efforts on first 2 starts over fences this season but proved something of a let-down last time at Catterick. Needs to get back on track with first-time cheekpieces added.
Has benefited from the change of scenery/fitting of cheekpieces, hitting the crossbar on first 2 starts for this yard before misfiring at Bangor in December. Quickly bounced back by winning a match here (15.8f, soft) recently and this veteran needs considering.
Won 4 times during a very productive first season over fences in 2021/22. Struggled last season and also well held on first 3 starts of present campaign but more like it when third of 11 at Hereford (21f, soft) latest and will be a threat if able to build on that.
Scored over fences at Warwick last spring but hasn't been in the same form since and connections now turn to blinkers in search of a solution.
Made the frame on first 2 starts over fences before showing improvement for a wind op/fitting of a tongue strap when striking at Warwick last February. However, he hasn't shown much in 2 starts so far this season and now has a bit to prove.
Generally held his form well during a busy period in first half of last year, bagging handicap chases at Fakenham and Huntingdon, and placed on several other occasions. Reappearance spin over hurdles 3 weeks ago will have blown away the cobwebs and he needs a second look.
Just the one success from 16 runs over hurdles and it's hard to draw positives from his chase debut at Hereford last month.
Now just 1 lb above the mark off which he hit the target at Uttoxeter last season but he hasn't shown enough in 3 starts since returning to action in November to suggest that a return to form is imminent.
Little in the way of solid form over hurdles and while he wasn't entirely disgraced starting out in this sphere at Hereford recently, there wasn't enough promise in that to make him of real interest here.
Poor/unreliable maiden hurdler who was pulled up on chase debut at Worcester when last seen 6 months ago.

My Gift To You (9/4), Bells Of Stamford (4/1), Star Flyer (15/2), File Illico (8/1), She Has Notions (10/1), Abaya Du Mathan (12/1), Jack Doyen (12/1), Samatian (12/1), Cloudy Wednesday (18/1), Boys Of Wexford (22/1), Bolberry Down (25/1), Pawpaw (66/1)
MY GIFT TO YOU has done little wrong since joining the James Owen yard and he is taken to make it 3-3 over fences on the back of a thoroughly decisive C&D success 16 days ago. Next on the list is File Illico, who has dropped to a potentially very handy mark and his latest third at Hereford represented a step back in the right direction. The 12-y-o Abaya du Mathan and Cloudy Wednesday are others to consider.
- File Illico8/1
- Abaya Du Mathan12/1
