Upped his game significantly when winning 11-runner novice hurdle at Taunton (19f, good to soft) on return. Running well (probably would have finished second) when falling 2 out at Wincanton next time and remains with potential. Big shout.

Impressive winner on sole start in points and successful start to hurdle career at Huntingdon (19.5f) on return in October. Disappointing on the day next time at Catterick although the 3 in front of him there all won next time. Likely type.

Promise all 3 starts in bumpers and positive start over hurdles when second in a Wetherby novice (19.7f) in October, inexperience getting the better of him late on. Too lit up in blinkers (quickly removed) in deeper contest at Ascot next time and capable of better for in-form yard if settling down.

This looks between the top three on the card, with CANTY BAY given another chance to build on his Taunton win in the hope his Wincanton fall hasn't left a mark. Doc McCoy's Catterick fourth is looking a bit better now with the three in front of him there all winning since and he's feared ahead of Bob Bob Ricard.
