Faily useful hurdler, including a course win in September. His second over 2m at Kempton back in January shows he can make an impact from his lowly Flat mark.

Forecasts

Smokey Malone (3/1), Scarborough Castle (10/3), Heatherdown Hero (9/2), Cold Henry (5/1), Crazy Crackers (5/1), Swaffham Bulbeck (17/2), Molly Mischief (33/1), Kitten's Dream (33/1)

Verdict

SMOKEY MALONE returns to AW off the same mark as when successful over C&D last spring and is worth siding with having been in decent form on turf when last seen in the autumn. Cold Henry is a pretty consistent operator in low-grade staying events and is second choice ahead of Swaffham Bulbeck.
