Dragon Dancer filly who showed ability at long odds on debut here in October and duly built on that effort to get off the mark over C&D 4 weeks ago, challenging over 1f out and always holding on. Possible she could do better again.

Mount Nelson filly who knew her job and shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up on debut in a C&D bumper back in October (Vanilla Dancer placed third). Struggled up in class/faced with testing ground at Cheltenham since but well worth another chance back in calmer waters.

Dragon Dancer filly. 11/1, offered something to work on when 7¾ lengths third of 7 to Vanilla Dancer in bumper at this C&D (heavy) on NH debut 28 days ago, keeping on gradually without threatening. May come up short here, though.

Cost £175,000 after getting off the mark in Irish points and offered something to work on when 5.5 lengths fifth of 7 on Rules debut in a Plumpton bumper back in April. No surprise to see her capable of better returning to action.

£38,000 buy after winning an Irish point last December but she came in a well-held third of four in Uttoxeter bumper on Rules debut in April, losing touch gradually. Probably best watched on return following 8 months off.

Blue Bresil filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Lunar Chief. Dam (h92) bumper winner. Betting should prove a useful guide on debut.

£7,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune filly. Looked badly in need of the experience when seventh of 8 in bumper at Wetherby (16f, heavy) on NH debut 27 days ago. Passed over with the hood again fitted.

Forecasts

Backdoorflush (4/5), Longhouse Legacy (9/2), Blue Las (5/1), Vanilla Dancer (11/2), Sagonige (9/1), Northern Reel (10/1), Chantilly Dragon (16/1), Sky's Your Limit (80/1), Norse Reiver (125/1)

Verdict

BACKDOORFLUSH seemed to find conditions too testing when well held in stronger company at Cheltenham and, having shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up on debut over C&D previously, she's well worth another chance to get back on the up. The returning Longhouse Legacy and appealing newcomer Blue Las are feared most.
