5/1

Winner at Market Rasen in June and posted a good third of 13 in handicap chase at Musselburgh (20.3f, good to soft) 48 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Can go well again off the same mark.

Form: 2F6-143

Beat The Edge^b,t⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr Thomas Easterby⁽⁷⁾| T: T D Easterby| OR: 91

3/1

Creditable second of 9 in handicap chase (9/2) at Catterick (15.7f, good to soft) 7 days ago. Unreliable sort, however, so others appeal more.

Form: 715-532

Heros De Moutiers^h1⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: Peter Kavanagh⁽³⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 91

9/1

Still a maiden and blinkered for 1st time when only sixth of 8 in handicap chase at Musselburgh (15.8f, good to soft, 9/2) 48 days ago. Hood goes on now and handily weighted if it sparks a resurgence.

Form: 4-24246

Ideallko⁴⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-13| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 80| BF

5/1

Landed back-to-back handicaps at Ffos Las and Plumpton in October but only fifth of 8 in the mud back at Ffos Las 44 days ago. Can give a good account under these less testing conditions.

Forecasts

Beat The Edge (3/1), Contre Ordre (10/3), Zuckerberg (4/1), Moore Clouds (5/1), Ideallko (5/1), Treshnish (8/1), Heros De Moutiers (9/1)

None of these can be ruled out so at the likely odds it is worth siding with TRESHNISH to build on the promise of his recent Hexham fourth for his new yard and capitalise on a reduced mark. Moore Clouds is feared most on the back of his solid Musselburgh third, with Ideallko and Heros de Moutiers both weighted to have a say too.
