Free-going front runner who was out of sorts during the summer but did stop the slide to an extent following wind op when finishing fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f) in October. Switched yards since and no surprise to see him play a part. Tongue tied.

Free-goer who stepped up on his reappearance run when second at Newbury (16.3f) 6 weeks ago, faring comfortably best of the rest behind an easy winner. Ease in class rates a plus back at scene of sole career success. Respected.

Off the mark over hurdles in claimer at Argentan last November and runner-up on only start for P. Lenogue at Cagnes-Sur-Mer (16.9f, soft) a month later. Easy to back when pulled up on yard debut at Wincanton in October but he may well be sharper with that under his belt.

Useful on the Flat in Germany. Struck at the second time of asking over hurdles in a Plumpton novice (15.9f) in October. Proved headstrong and weakened out of things on handicap debut back there 6 weeks ago but likelihood of a good pace to aim at here should help.

Fair maiden hurdler who has run some way below that level in a couple of starts for present yard in recent months. Visor needs to have positive effect now.

Won at fourth time of asking over hurdles in 4-runner C&D maiden in June but hasn't replicated that subsequently, running no sort of race after a break at Ludlow (21.2f, soft) 6 weeks ago. Others make greater appeal.

Won hurdle at Clarefontaine on final start in France in July but hasn't offered much encouragement so far on these shores. Still early days.

Capitalised on easing mark when landing handicap chase contests here/Stratford in June. However, hasn't been pulling up any trees in that sphere subsequently and passed over returned to hurdling.

SERGEANT WILSON stepped up on his reappearance run when second in a stronger contest at Newbury 6 weeks ago, no match for the winner but nicely clear of the remainder. He gets the nod to come out on top from the same mark. For Pleasure, on debut for Olly Murphy, and Western Soldier head up the dangers.
