Comfortable winner of Cork maiden hurdle (16.9f) last summer but yet to reproduce his Irish form for his current yard. Never involved in handicap here (15.6f) 18 days ago, but he's an interesting contender having only his second try at this trip from his tumbling mark.
Recorded back-to-back wins at Kelso in September but hasn't been in the same form since, finishing a well-beaten sixth at this course (15.6f) 18 days ago. He's back below his last winning mark as a result, though, so he's capable if on a going day.
Off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles last summer and matched that level when runner-up on his chase debut in May. Hasn't progressed since, including back hurdling last time (following a wind op), but he's on dangerous mark returned to this longer trip.
Still looking for her first win and couldn't build on the promise of her fourth at Perth (20.2f) in September when finishing mid-field at Sedgefield last time. Continues to fall in the weights but has work to do to take advantage.
Fair form on the second of 2 starts in bumpers, but no better than mid-division in a trio of novice hurdles last season. However, it would be no surprise if he showed more now handicapping, with tongue strap applied on her first start since leaving Fergal O'Brien.
Successful over fences back in 2021 and finally opened his account over hurdles in a Bangor handicap (19.6f) in May. Form has been in and out since, though, following a pair of placed efforts with a poor run last time. Others more persuasive.
Made more impact than previously when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Kelso (18.1f) on her final start last season. However, after 7 months off (had a wind op) ran no sort of race when pulled up at the same course 19 days ago. Improvement required.
Best effort of the year when second at this C&D in March, before struggling in a couple of runs back on the Flat. However, not discredited returned to hurdles when mid-field here (23.8f) 18 days ago, so she's one to consider as she drops back down in trip.
Runner-up in a Catterick bumper on debut in February but has made a low-key start to his hurdling career, showing his first form over timber when fifth of 8 on his handicap debut at Kelso (18.1f) in September. Has something to find as he goes back up in distance.

Forecasts
Lihyan (15/8), We Gotta Getaway (18/5), Copper Fox (5/1), Foxwood (11/2), Misscarlett (11/1), Dot Cotton (14/1), Balranald (14/1), Darkest Day (25/1), Melchoir (33/1)
LIHYAN has yet to fire this season, but he's down to a tempting mark as a result so he's one to be interested in as he drops in grade. The 5-y-o is taken to get the better of Copper Fox, who has also fallen a long way in the weights, while We Gotta Getaway could show more making his stable/handicap debut.
