Twice a winner over hurdles last season but he's made an inauspicious start to his chasing career, tailed off at Carlisle before taking little interest in first-time headgear at Kelso last month. Cheekpieces discarded and mark continues to tumble.

Well served by return to positive tactics when opening account at the first attempt for new yard at Sedgefield (17f) in October. Quickly back to form when runner-up at this course (15.8f, soft) 18 days ago and there's likely to be another race or 2 to be won with him this season.

Hasn't stood much racing in recent years and offered little after a further 10 months off when fifth of 9 in handicap chase (9/1) at Carlisle (15.9f, soft) a couple of months ago. Well treated on best form but hard to have much faith in at present.

Winning hurdler who built on his reappearance effort to run out a good winner at Carlisle in October, displaying a good attitude. Shaped as if still in good form but didn't see his race out at Newcastle (20.1f) last time but he should be in the mix back down in grade.

Went close over fences at Ayr last December and also second over hurdles at Kelso in April. Looked rusty back from 6 months off when well-held fourth in 3m Kelso chase last month and cheekpieces/tongue tie are on for the first time together.

Dual chase winner for Charles & Adam Pogson in summer but no impact on both starts for this yard last month. Needs to bounce back quickly.

Winner on the Flat in June and has matched hurdles form over fences so far, fifth at Kelso last time. Doesn't appear to have anything in hand, however.

HELLO JUDGE opened his account over the larger obstacles at Carlisle in October, and having shaped as if still in good form for a long way at Newcastle next time, Ann Hamilton's 7-y-o is fancied to regain the winning thread at the expense of Restandbethankful, who has turned over a new leaf since joining this yard. Warriors Story and Dancewiththewind can fight out third spot.
