Christow Handicap Chase

Won 3 times as a juvenile hurdler in 2019/20 season. Lightly raced since and well prepared to make a winning return to chasing for new yard at Ascot (18.8f) 5 weeks ago, travelling well and kept up to work. Open to improvement and sound claims in follow-up bid.

Reinvigorated by a switch to hunters and fitting of cheekpieces last season, winning twice and fine second in the Aintree Foxhunter (all under Heidi Palin). Ran poorly without the cheekpieces in Warwick handicap chase on return, however, and the headgear is absent again. Engaged 12.40 Fontwell Tue.

Won 4 times over hurdles in 2021/22 and came good at the fifth time of asking over fences in handicap at Hereford (21f) in January. However, failed to complete all 3 starts since, including back over hurdles on return. Headgear now applied.

Scored at Taunton in February but mixed record since, sixth of 12 in handicap chase at Wincanton (20.2f, soft, 18/1) 32 days ago.
