C&D winner. Well-beaten last of 4 to Savvy Victory in listed race at Sandown (10f, good, 9/2). Off 136 days. Return to AW will suit but others are preferred.
Eight wins from 26 Flat runs. 14/1, respectable third of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford City (8f) 16 days ago. Stepping back in the right direction.
Won 3 of 4 starts for Charlie Appleby and didn't run too badly to make the frame at Newcastle on yard debut. Possibly unsuited by turf last time but mark still probably demands a bit more back on AW.
Three wins from 10 runs this year. Latest win at Goodwood in August. Good second of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to soft, 7/2) 26 days ago. Nudged up to career high mark but still respected.
Career best when winning 12-runner handicap at York (7.9f, heavy) 38 days ago, kept up to work. Has plenty on form on artificial surfaces and has to be respected from 3 lb higher mark.
Lightly-raced C&D winner. 25/1, creditable 4 lengths sixth of 12 to Queen Aminatu in listed race at Lingfield (8f, AW) 13 days ago, slowly away. This is more realistic and she's not without hope of making the frame.
Career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 16/1) 51 days ago, overcoming pace bias. Makes polytrack debut. Has good chance on form back up to 1m.
Eight wins from 30 Flat runs. Good second of 10 in handicap (10/1) at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 23 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently. Unproven on all-weather but he's not discounted if proving as effective on the surface.
Resumed progress to win here in October but wasn't in same form when eighth of 12 here (7f, 4/1) 19 days ago. Needs to bounce back.

Forecasts
Notre Belle Bete (3/1), Choisya (7/2), Symbol Of Light (5/1), Catch The Paddy (7/1), Julia Augusta (15/2), Caragio (15/2), Hafeet Alain (17/2), Excel Power (18/1), Autumn Festival (33/1)
Some sort of case can be made for each on the 9 runners, though CATCH THE PADDY makes most appeal having quickened up smartly to overcome a pace bias at Newmarket last time. Excel Power has been shaping as if he's building back up to top form and has edged further down the weights again, with Hafeet Alain also hard to dismiss on the back of a career-best effort.
- Excel Power18/1
- Hafeet Alain17/2
