6/1, improved when won 13-runner handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (16.8f, good to soft) 46 days ago, well on top finish. Makes tapeta debut. First run for yard after leaving Milton Harris (3,500 gns). This is his first start on the level for over 2 years so worth a second look.
Eighteen runs since last win in 2020. Respectable sixth of 13 in handicap (5/1) at Kempton (8f) 45 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Merits consideration.
Winner at Catterick in June. 11/1, fifth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 43 days ago, forced to switch inside final 1f. First run for yard after leaving David O'Meara (only 1,000 gns).
C&D winner. 10/1, last of 7 in handicap at Brighton (8f, good) in July. Continues to fall in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage.
5/1, shaped as if still in form when eighth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 15 days ago, short of room inside final 1f. Back up in trip. Shortlist material.
Course winner. Eyecover on for 1st time, wasn't seen to best effect when sixth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (8/1) 4 days ago, racing wide home turn. Eyeshields back on. Not taken lightly.
Latest win at Chelmsford City in September. 4/1, again ran creditably when second of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford City (8f) 14 days ago, again carrying his head high under pressure.
Winner at Lingfield in August. Below form when eighth of 12 in handicap (6/1) at Chelmsford City (10f) 79 days ago, hampered early in straight. Blinkers on 1st time.
Eleven runs since last win in 2021. Again showed little when eleventh of 12 in handicap at Catterick (12.1f, good, 40/1) 4 months ago. Back down in trip.
22/1, eleventh of 12 in handicap at Bath (11.6f, good) 9 weeks ago, doing too much too soon. Down in trip. Tongue strap back on.
Ran poorly having sweated up beforehand when tenth of 11 in handicap at this course (9.5f, 14/1) 7 months ago. Easy to look elsewhere.

Ibiza Rocks (2/1), Kodi Noir (10/3), Kodebreaker (7/2), Brave Display (9/2), Angel Of Peace (13/2), Native Melody (18/1), River Wharfe (18/1), Dance Angel (20/1), Pyrrhic Dancer (25/1), Escobedo (40/1), Athena Ballerina (40/1), Peruvian Summer (66/1)
A wide-open curtain raiser but preference is for KODEBREAKER, who shaped as if still in top form when down the field at Wolverhampton earlier this month and Michael Herrington's 4-y-o should relish this step back up in trip. Angel of Peace arrives in form, so she may well emerge as the main danger dropping back in distance for a new yard, with Ibiza Rocks and Escobedo another couple to consider.
