Lincoln Burrows²³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: B S Hughes| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 94

14/1

Maiden Irish pointer who showed significant improvement in making a successful handicap hurdle debut at Newcastle in April. Shaped as if amiss sent chasing after 6 months off at Carlisle 23 days ago but remains of interest back over hurdles.

Form: 38871-P

Joker Du Chenet¹⁷⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-6| J: D A Jacob| T: S R B Crawford| OR: 92

Form: F4-5

Bella Bluesky^t¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Craig Nichol| T: Ewan Whillans| OR: 88| C

8/1

Opened hurdles account here in February 2022 and looked set double her tally following a wind op back at this course (21f, soft) last month, only for a lack of peak fitness to tell late on. However, proved a big disappointment back here 2 weeks ago. Back up in trip.

Form: 96-5P3P

Bollin Matilda¹⁹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: Danny McMenamin| T: D W Whillans| OR: 86

22/1

Has hinted at ability and may do better now handicapping after 6 months off.

Form: 6776-

Secret Secret^h,t¹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Charlotte Jones⁽³⁾| T: James Moffatt| OR: 83| BF

5/2

Picked up for only £1,500 after failing to click in 3 starts for Neil Mulholland but capitalised on a falling mark after 6 months off at Cartmel (22.1f, soft) on yard debut in August. Backed that up when fifth of 19 in handicap hurdle (10/3) at Carlisle (20f, soft) 16 days ago.

Form: 66U5-15

September Daisy³⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 10-11| J: Bruce Lynn⁽³⁾| T: N W Alexander| OR: 82

14/1

Showed improved form to get off the mark from 6 lb out of the weights at Hexham in May and shaped as if needing run on comeback there 5 weeks ago. Better expected now.

Form: 3503-16

Allibaba³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-11| J: Joe Williamson⁽⁵⁾| T: P A Kirby| OR: 82

5/2

Fair form when placed both starts in bumpers for Willie Mullins but little solid form over hurdles, flattered in a falsely-run race here 5 weeks ago.

Form: P8-PP55

Konik King^t⁵²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: Edward Austin⁽⁵⁾| T: S Corbett| OR: 80

10/1

Poor form over hurdles/fences but wasn't disgraced back over hurdles when fourth here (18f) last time and mark eases once again.

Form: P7-3754

Getaway Gerry²⁴⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 10-6| J: Emma Smith-Chaston⁽³⁾| T: K Scott| OR: 77

40/1

Showed little in 3 runs last season after 2 years off so plenty to prove.

Form: 402/60P-

Ashjan^p,t¹⁶¹

Age: 10| Weight: 10-4| J: Dylan Johnston⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss S E Forster| OR: 75| D

Weight: 12-0| Age: 9

T: N G Richards J: Callum Bewley

Forecasts

Secret Secret (5/2), Allibaba (5/2), Headscarf Lil (3/1), Joker Du Chenet (8/1), Bella Bluesky (8/1), Konik King (10/1), So They Say (10/1), September Daisy (14/1), Lincoln Burrows (14/1), Bollin Matilda (22/1), Ashjan (33/1), Getaway Gerry (40/1)

SO THEY SAY has a lengthy absence to overcome but her opening mark looks a fair one so she could be worth chancing. Headscarf Lil was only just edged out at Perth so is next best ahead of Secret Secret, who has made a positive start for this yard.
