Dropped in grade and with cheekpieces back on, he won for the first time over hurdles since 2018 at Cartmel (22.1f, good to soft) in July. Hasn't fired since and has a bit to prove.

Got back on scoreboard at Uttoxeter in July and proved conclusively that fences aren't for him when pulled up at Worcester in September. Back to form when second at Wetherby last time and can't be completely dismissed.

Ran to a fair level over hurdles last season and made a positive reappearance when second at Hexham last month. Type to do better still, so makes plenty of appeal.

Won twice here in the first half of last season. Respectable sixth at Musselburgh 7 months and should be ready to go, so worthy of respect.

Opened his account in good style in 23.7f Newcastle handicap hurdle in January 2020. Only seen out twice since and, while he seemed to retain ability when third at Catterick a couple of years ago, there are question marks over him facing another lengthy absence.

Didn't kick on after winning over C&D on return last season, looking far from a natural when sent chasing in the spring. Back over hurdles here but others still preferred.

Latest win in hurdle at Carlisle in April. 3/1, good second of 5 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (23.3f, heavy) 28 days ago, sticking to task. Another bold showing is on the cards.

Last win came at this course back in 2020. Returned from almost 2 years off with a respectable run here a month ago and he's well treated if he can build on that.

Back-to-back winner of staying handicaps in February/March 2022 but little impact last season and out of the weights on return.
