Fair maiden handicapper on Flat but ran below that level switched to hurdling when fourth of 8 in juvenile at Wetherby 3 weeks ago, all but unseating his rider at the third. Improvement required from that first experience over obstacles.

Fair maiden on the level for Harry & Roger Charlton and proved his stamina for jumping when runner-up in juvenile maiden at Sedgefield (16.8f) on hurdling debut 17 days ago. Probably would have won last time but for a mistake 2 out, so he's not taken lightly.
Seahenge gelding. Dam lightly raced and no impact on Flat/over jumps in France. Has a fair standard to aim at on debut.
Maiden on the Flat and offered little sent hurdling when well held in juvenile maiden at Sedgefield 17 days ago, with the reopposing I'm Too Tired finishing second. Best watched with blinkers now reached for.
Won pair of handicaps on the level this summer and again ran creditably when third at Hamilton last month. Could play a part on hurdling debut with cheekpieces on first time (tongue strap retained from Flat).
Fair maiden on the Flat who made an encouraging start over hurdles when third in juvenile maiden at Cork 24 days ago. Open to improvement as he makes first run for yard after leaving Noel Meade. Leading contender.
Little impact on the Flat but has the pedigree for jumping and showed aptitude on hurdling debut when third in juvenile at Wetherby 3 weeks ago. Could take a step forward from his first outing in this sphere.
Fair winner on the Flat for James Ferguson who was unsuited by heavy ground when well held at Chester on her latest outing in September. Interesting recruit to hurdling returned to less testing conditions (cheekpieces wore on the Flat retained).
Made some appeal on paper but was well beaten when falling at the last in juvenile hurdle at Sedgefield on her debut last month. Needs to leave her first run well behind.

Forecasts
Union Flag (9/4), Ragosina (3/1), I'm Too Tired (3/1), Rory The Cat (6/1), La Quarite (8/1), Walk The Moon (16/1), Common Acclaim (40/1), The Mayor Porky (150/1), Red Shield (200/1)
UNION FLAG made an encouraging debut over hurdles when third at Cork last month and he can progress from that effort as he makes his first start for Donald McCain. He is taken to get off the mark, though I'm Too Tired also shaped well sent hurdling last time and is feared most, ahead of Ragosina.
