Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser but he wasn't seen out after coming in only eighth of 11 in handicap chase at Kempton (20.5f, good to soft) in Februrary. Tongue strap goes back on for his return with more needed.
Cheekpieces seemingly the making of him to end 2022, landing a brace of handicap hurdles at up to 20.6f. Has won when fresh so he's much respected going chasing on his return.
Promising winning hurdler who shaped well on his chase debut after six months off/breathing suregery when second of 3 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (16.3f, soft) 33 days ago. Can take a step forward.
Ended last spring in fine form over fences, winning back-to-back handicaps at Chepstow and Ascot before runner-up at Ffos Las (21f, good to soft). Remains handily weighted so he's a player on his return.
Ended a long losing run in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las in January but below form on both of his starts over fences since, making mistakes when well held at Newcastle in March. Cheekpieces back on as he makes first run for yard after leaving Michael Scudamore.
Reliable chaser who signed off last season in excellent form, scoring at Wetherby and runner-up in 2m Newcastle handicap. Goes well fresh so he's firmly in the picture on his reappearance.
Took this contest 12 months ago and his form figures over fences at this course read 13124. H'es very much one to consider after a break off a competitive mark on the back of a wind op.
A fairly useful hurdles/chase winner for Francois Nicolle in 2022. Wears tongue tie. Commands respect off a handy-looking mark starting out for new connections.
A fairly usful winning handicap chaser in 2022/23 in France. Claimed for €13,001 in April and he can't be discounted on his yard debut/reappearance.
Already a much better chaser than hurdler, gaining his second win over 20f at Huntingdon on Boxing Day. Would have finished a clear second but for falling 2 out at Ascot on his final start. Shortlisted on his return.
Low-mileage hurdler who was pulled up in 3m Plumpton handicap in April. Still needs considering now going over fences for his good yard though.
C&D winner who hinted at a revival when fourth of 6 in handicap chase at Warwick (20f, good) 30 days ago. Not ruled out off a falling mark.
Enjoyed an excellent season over fences last term, scoring three times, including over C&D. Off 7 months but he's one to consider.

Plenty are in with a shout. EATON COLLINA made a bright start to life over fences last term and returns on a still lenient-looking mark so he can rifle in another success at the chief expense of ex-French winner Fricotin, who could have more to offer now starting out for new connections. Gallic Geordie, Mount Tempest and Cruz Control also have much to recommend them and need factoring into this competitive handicap chase.
