Ascot Underwriting Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Dual hurdles winner last term, showing some quirks once in front but far too good for his rivals at Warwick (19f) when last seen in March. Looks the type to make a useful chaser and yard have enjoyed success in this over the years.

Smart bumper performer, and fairly useful hurdles winner at up to 19f last term. Looked rusty sent chasing by new connections after 9 months off (sold from Paul Nicholls £12,000 in interim) at Newton Abbot and could show more here, although it's a tough assignment.

Dual bumper winner who attained a useful level over hurdles, winning 3 times at up to 21f. Rather too lit up to last home after 6 months off at Chepstow, shaping much better than the bare result. Type to make a better chaser and interesting first time up in this sphere with that under his belt.

Won 3 times as a juvenile hurdler in 2019/20 season and not disgraced final 2 starts in that sphere last season having suffered a nasty experience first time up over fences on his comeback. Starts out for new yard on return.

Returned to win a brace of novice hurdles over further last autumn (second one here). Fair runs in handicaps last 2 starts and bred for the job now sent chasing on reappearance.

Bumper/hurdles winner who maintained his unbeaten record first time out as he made a successful switch to chasing at Warwick (20f) 6 weeks ago, coping with the good pace around a tricky track well and readily coming clear. Sure to progress and win more races.

Left Robert Tyner for £185,000 and advanced his form when landing a Uttoxeter maiden and Newcastle novice hurdle over further last season. Not discounted now sent chasing on return.

Fairly useful bumper/hurdles winner who made a promising return/chase debut behind a smart prospect at Ffos Las having been backed 3 weeks ago, taking second close home. Stiffer test will suit and he can improve. Leading player.

Showed fairly useful form over hurdles when landing a pair of events at Pau in February, including a listed race (17.4f). Has failed to match that form in Britain, including back over fences on his recent return at Carlisle after a breathing operation. Bit to prove although gets loads of weight.
